Hey!
It works! We've been trying to teach Will to go to sleep on his own, and after much trial and tribulation: Da da da daaaaaa! He fell asleep with only a minimum amount of fussing. I'll take it!
Oh good, I'm glad that's worked out for you! It's hard isn't it? Hopefully you didn't have to feel too bad about it all. No crying outside the bedroom door? :)
